Directions

  1. Slice the gherkins thinly, peel the mandarin. Halve the avocados; using a tablespoon remove them from their skin and cut into cubes. Slice the red onion into thin rings.
  2. Place all the ingredients, apart from the lettuce, in a large bowl and allow to marinate for approx. 30 minutes.
  3. Add the lettuce and mix everything together.

Tips & Tricks

You can of course vary the ingredients. Fresh cucumber is a milder alternative to gherkin, for example.
