Tip 2: Choose a fruity breakfast

How great it would be if you could eat more fruit during the first meal of the day! White bread rolls or sugary cereals can now make way for fruity early starters. It means that you will get your vitamins and minerals in the morning and meet the day bursting with energy. Tip 3: Pop some fruit in your lunchbox

Starting today, fruit will always be included! Whether you’re off to university or going to work, make sure to pack some delicious fruit treats in a lunchbox. You can even prepare this quickly on the previous evening and snack on a whole range of vitamins while you are in the car, at your desk or on a break. By the way, you don’t need to peel the fruit, as most of the vitamins are just under the skin. So what can you add to your lunchbox or Mason jar to increase your fruit intake? Our refreshing fruit salad to go is one perfect option. Our summery orange club sandwich can be whipped up in a flash and smells divine. Our blueberry chia pudding and apple and banana sandwich will also provide you with that extra portion of fruit love.

Tip 4: Smoothies are always a good idea

These are true classics and always a fantastic way of getting more fruit into your day. Smoothies are quick to make, can be prepared in all kinds of creative ways and are loved by young and old. Have a look in your fridge or fruit bowl and see what grabs your eye – smoothies can be conjured up from various combinations of bananas, apples, pineapple, grapes, berries and other fruit. Spinach, carrots and kale are just some of the vegetables that can be added to the mix. Nuts, coconut water and chia seeds make a delicious highlight. We wouldn’t be Dole if we didn’t have a full selection of smoothies for you to choose from. Tip 5: Find your favourite fruit

Not a fan of certain types of fruit? No problem! The world of fruit is full of colourful delights to suit every taste. Why not try a variety of different fruits and find your favourite ones. Even if your heart is only set on a few different varieties, that is still great! Try to snack on your favourite fruit as often as possible. Do you love bananas, raspberries and melon, for example? Then look specifically for recipe ideas containing your favourite fruit and vitamin sources. Tip: In the morning, put together a small plate of fruit and keep it within reach. Chop the fruit into small pieces, that way you are sure to reach for it all the more frequently. The plate is guaranteed to be empty by the time evening comes. Gradually add new types of fruit and perhaps you will soon embrace these too. Another recipe to fall in love with: our vegan berry jelly heart with vanilla sauce.
