It’s finally autumn again! At this colourful time of the year, we love things that simply do us good and celebrate life. What are your absolute must-dos this year? How about an autumn bucket list with the best must-haves for this cooler time of the year? Look forward to doing some arts and crafts with the kids, joining the library, enjoying some fruity soul food, listening to relaxing audio books, compiling inspirational gratitude lists and many other self-care ideas for you and your family. We love autumn!

Do some autumn arts and crafts with the kids

All kinds of colourful delights can be made from chestnuts, leaves, pine cones and the like. If you have children, creative autumn arts and crafts are a great idea for your bucket list. Look to arts and crafts books or social media for inspiration. Grab some coloured drawing paper, scissors and some glue and you are good to go! By the way, the end result does not need to be perfect. It’s all about having fun and enjoying some family time together. Our raspberry and almond muesli bars and banana and peanut energy balls are just the thing for young and old arts and crafts fans.

Take time to read

Some activities often get sidelined in the stress of everyday life. Use this autumn to settle down and finally read a book again. Cosy autumn evenings are the ideal time to do this. Reading time should therefore also be on your bucket list for this autumn. Join your local library, browse book flea markets or borrow a page-turner from a friend. If you prefer to have someone else do the reading, audio books are the ideal choice this autumn.

Enjoy some vitamin-rich autumn soul food

We loved salads, smoothies and nicecream during the summer. But autumn is also the perfect time of the year for delicious fruit and vegetable ideas. Don’t forget to add some warm vitamin boosters to your well-being bucket list. They will warm you from inside and do wonders for heart and soul. Healthy food is a must-have for us the whole year round. This autumn, why not try our blueberry and cinnamon buns, turmeric porridge with banana, flammkuchen pastries with grapes and pumpkin or warm berry soup with blueberries?

Write a gratitude list

The end of the year is the perfect time for your very own personal gratitude list. How does that work? Write down the things that have made you happy in the last few months. What are you really grateful for? This could be relationships, health, good food, pleasant trips, your job and many unforgettable moments. This list can also help you to achieve more satisfaction and optimism on dark autumn and winter days. At the same time, remembering what makes you happy is a wonderful mindfulness exercise.

Celebrate autumn

How quickly do we get worked up about the rain and the cold in autumn? Yet every season has its own particular charms. Another well-being idea for your bucket list: enjoy autumn wholeheartedly with all your senses! Walk through rustling leaves, put on your prettiest cosy sweaters again, enjoy candlelight, try new types of tea, spend the entire evening watching box sets, organise a games evening, collect mushrooms autumn is wonderful. Look forward to it!

Wishing you lots of autumn love!
