Directions

  1. Mash 4 bananas with a fork and mix with the oil, yoghurt, honey, salt, cinnamon, clove and egg whites to form a smooth mixture. Fold in 100 g of almonds.
  2. Mix the spelt flour with the baking powder and sodium bicarbonate and stir into the banana mixture.
  3. Grease the jars thinly with oil and fill with dough.
  4. Cut the last banana into rough pieces, press the banana pieces into the dough and sprinkle the remaining almonds and the orange zest on top.
  5. Place the jars into the preheated oven and bake at 170°C (fan-assisted oven 150°C) for approx. 35–40 minutes.

Tips & Tricks

It also tastes great if you mix 100 g of dark chocolate pieces into the dough.
