Directions

For the dough: Wash the bananas, cut off the stalk. Cut the bananas into slices, including the peel. Puree the banana slices and 3 tbsp lemon juice in a powerful kitchen blender

Coarsely chop all the nuts in a blender and mix with the oat flakes. Wash the apple peel, dab dry and also chop finely. Add to the oat flakes and nuts with the banana puree, maple syrup (or agave syrup) and coconut oil. Stir in the wholemeal spelt flour, 1 pinch of salt, cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Spread the mixture smoothly in a square springform pan (approx. 20 x 30 cm) lined with baking paper

Briefly soak the dried banana chips and spread them on the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 25-30 minutes.

Cut the dough into approx. 16 pieces while it is still lukewarm. Melt the dark chocolate and spoon strips over the banana-apple granola bites. Leave to dry.

Holy granola!
